Metro South Scoots was formed on July 1, 2006, by a group of scooter enthusiasts, mostly from South of Metro Manila, Philippines.
Since then, the group has grown from the 6 founding members to 30 individuals from all walks of life.
Weekly hangouts takes place at Shell Station in front of Perpetual Help Hospital in Las Pinas City, either on Friday or Saturday, usually from 9 p.m. to the wee hours of the morning.
Wouldn't it be cool to wear a Storm Trooper helmet or better yet, how about Darth Vader's Helmet..hehehe...I know I would. Now, if I could only get my hands on one that is DOT/SNELL or ECE approved.
For helmet modders out there, here's an example on Kropserkel, Battlestar Galactica's Cylon Centurion...hehehe...
Hmmm...a helmet in the shape of the Ghost Rider's Head...hehehe..now that would be something.
Or, maybe the Rocketeer's helmet...
A word of caution though, doing such a mod, drilling/cutting holes may render your helmet protection properties nill. Do this at your own risk.
I've been tinkering around the side section of the blog, I've got it to look the way I wanted it. Though I need to readjust the size of the images in the link section, I think they're way too big...hehehe...
Also posted a daily weather report (in tagalog) with matching sattelite image. The image is updated regularly by DOST/PAG-ASA. This would be a great tool for planning those long trips. Provided a link on the side section, just click on the image on the left for weather updates.
That's all for now, I'm quite busy these last couple of days. Need to finish this before the June 10th ride.
HULING HIRIT SA TAG-INIT! Sunday, June 10, 2007 Mahogany, Tagaytay Assembly at Shell Times, Las Pinas, 6AM Stop-over @ Petron Silang, Cavite RAIN or SHINE
A call to all Sym Jet owners from Metro Manila and the neighboring areas was initiated by Paul_xt16 (from MCP), for a fun ride to Tagaytay. This is a spinoff for a call for a grand eyeball of all Sym Jet owners. I hope this ride will push thru as scheduled, as previous plans were shelved, due primarily to time contraints and logistics.
